34 is too old? 😱

First, we are opposed to them as a matter of principle. 

As one grows old, we find that physical beauty is less and less important. If the price of physical beauty is that you are "over the hill" at 34, then beauty pageants and other contests where physical beauty is the focus have no place in our modern world.

Second, we find comments like these absolutely repugnant.

Ageism is a real fact of life. It's bad enough that some people judge others professionally by their age, it's totally unacceptable that people focus on age to the expense of everything else.
